The Terrecosta farm is located in Sciacca, not far from Agrigento, and is part of the Val di Mazara DPO, an European certified area for the production of high quality extra-virgin olive oil.
The farm is eleven hectares big (28 acres) and located 200 meters above sea level. Here the grandchildren of the founder keep working on the family tradition adding the know-how of their agronomy studies.
The most important production is the olive tree from which Terrecosta produces delicious oil based on three varieties: Biancolilla (light fruity and slighly spicy), Nocellara del Belice (intense, fruity and rich in antioxidant), Cerasuola (medium fruity).
