Poggio Le Volpi (Monte Porzio Catone - Roma)

The winery Poggio Le Volpi was established by the Mergè family in 1996 and is today one of the most interesting winemakers of the Lazio region.

Poggio Le Volpi is located in Monte Porzio Catone, few km away from Rome and Frascati, in the middle of the so called "Castelli Romani" where the production of wine is part of the tradition since centuries.

Here the soil with volcanic origin and rich in tuff and sand is perfect for growing typical local wines like Malvasia, Trebbiano and Montepulciano.
