Time will tell us if the Orange wine explosion is just a matter of fasion or if it’s something to last. Truth is that the Orange wines are very much beloved and are encountering a huge success. In the end it is only about the maceration of white wines on the skins which give that special amber-orange colour. Rossovermiglio started to produce Orange wine as an experiment, but it quickly turned into a big success. And it’s not only about the nice golden yellow-orange colour: it is also about the ripe apricot aroma as well as the almond and vanilla perfume, given by the aging in barrique. The taste is greatly supported by good acidity which allows this wine to be wonderfully paired also with spicy asian food.
Like all other wines from Rossovermiglio this Ambrato is suitable for vegans because this winery doesn't use any animal derivatives in the production.
