El Nane is bottled only in years when there is a surplus of grapes. This is when, in compliance with the DOCG consortium guidelines, the winery would exceed the limited number to bottles of Amarone or other wines of the same appellation that they are allotted per year. It is a wine that reminds us of the important wines of the past - those with a wonderful fruity intensity, intact tannins and a good acidity: all distinct elements which harmonize in this delightful glass of wine.
