The label of Baglio Diar's Merlot "Velata" is inspired by a Luigi Pirandello's novel. The winery passion for the Sicilian history is happily developed in this intense Merlot.
The grapes come from a vineyard located in Salemi at 450 meters above sea level on a clayey soil with organic agriculture.
The 6-month aging in barrique makes this Merlot very special with black cherry, violet, liquorice and tobacco aromas. Smooth tannins and great cherry after taste.
