We met Francesco Mascini, owner of Winery Citari, at a wine-fair and then had the pleasure of deepening our acquaintance during a dedicated tasting of his wines.

The meeting with Francesco was rich in insights, not only for discovering his wines but also for understanding the philosophy behind this winery, which prides itself on being able to make choices.
And the choice is to live their wines with total passion in this unique area of Italy: Lugana.

Here, on the southern shores of Lake Garda, between clay-rich plains and hills of morainic origin, you will find the vineyards of Citari.

The starring grape is Turbiana, with which Lugana DOC is produced—a white wine always distinguished by intense aromas, great structure, and excellent aging potential.

We wholeheartedly embrace the project of Francesco and his wife Maria Giovanna, the third generation leading Citari, now among the key players of this magnificent region.
