Puglia

italia_2.png

Among the Italian regions Puglia is the biggest producer. The most spread wines are famous all over the world: Primitivo, Negroamaro and Nero di Troia. They all are very tasty wines with a remarkable alcoholic content.

Chardonnay is the most common white wine, but the local vines were able to find their space too: Verdeca, Minutolo (also called Fiano) and Bombino.

The climate, the soil and the sea proximity generate an extraordinary biodiversity that is the base for high quality wines.

in-wine choice, after tasting various wineries, fell on two wineries:

- Podere29, an organic winery that produces wines which are authentic expression of Puglia with a great international flair.

- Cantina Giara, a tiny producer from Bari that offer amazing "natural", biodynamic wines.
