Abruzzo

Abruzzo is one of the smallest Italian regions but even here you can find interesting wines as a further confirmation that in Italy you can find good wines everywhere.
The two most common grapes are Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (red) and Trebbiano (white).
The landscape of Abruzzo is very hilly with narrow valley that quickly descend towards the coast. The vines take great advantage of the thermal excursion between day and night producing a thick skin that is a guarantee of quality and taste.
For in-wine we have chosen Menicucci and Fattoria Nicodemi, both 100% organic.
Both wineries produce sincere and well done wines few kilometers away from the Adriatic sea.
