Atrivm (Montalcino – Siena)


The vineyards of the Atrivm winery stretch just outside the geographical boundaries of the Brunello appellation and therefore fall within the Val d’Orcia, one of the most picturesque areas of Tuscany.

In this land, soaked with winemaking history and rich in clay soils, Emilio has embraced the legacy of history, tradition, and culture handed down by his grandfather Argante.

Here, the undisputed protagonist is Sangiovese — the most widespread and beloved grape variety throughout Tuscany — which Atrivm has chosen to interpret in various expressions: from the simplest version, almost like a bottled table wine, to the more refined Riserva.

The winery does not shy away from experimenting with international varieties either, such as Petit Verdot and especially Merlot.
