Cascina Rossa (Diano d'Alba - Cuneo)
It is quite common in the famous Piedmontese wine district Langhe to meet wineries with a very long history. Cascina Rossa is a typical example: this is the sixth generation of the Veglio family that keeps producing wine in Diano d'Alba, the home of the best Dolcetto wines.
The family history is so long and they are so proud of it that if you visit Cascina Rossa you will even find a small museum with old photographs, work equipment and ancient farm vehicles.
With a production philosophy that follows this tradition Cascina Rossa produces wines that are strongly anchored to the authenticity of the local winemaking style.
