Casarotto (Montecchia di Crosara - Verona)

The Casarotto winery, with 15 hectares and around 40.000 bottles per year, is located in the heart of the historic Soave region, halfway between Verona and Vicenza.

Since 1945, the Casarotto family has been directly involved in every aspect of production, from rigorous vineyard management to careful work in the cellar.

The vineyards that produce Soave wines typically have a basaltic origin, making them rich in nutrients and elements that contribute to fertility.
On the other hand, the vineyards for Durello production, situated within the Monti Lessini denomination, have finely volcanic and tuffaceous soils.

Most of the vines are cultivated using the traditional pergola system, with an average age of 35-40 years.

Winemaking practices are traditional, with low use of sulfites and a natural approach that highlights the finesse of the white wines.
