Lungarella (Poli – Rome)


Tenuta Lungarella lies literally in the middle of the woods, in a well‑ventilated area — already an excellent calling card for a winery in a moment like ours, when climate change is challenging viticulture with increasingly high temperatures.

Its 600 meters of altitude and the great variety of trees surrounding the two and a half hectares of vineyards ensure more moderate temperatures and remarkable biodiversity, confirmed by the numerous beehives placed near the vineyard, as well as by the fruit trees and olive groves.

Luigi Lulli has taken over the management of the agricultural activity, working alongside his father Marino, who planted the vineyard in 2014.

Today, three varieties are cultivated: Vermentino in the higher area, where the soil is predominantly calcareous, and Montepulciano and Cesanese further down, where the soil is rich in volcanic material.

All the wines are genuine and crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
