CESANESE JULIUS ETICHETTA NERA LAZIO IGT 2022 - LUNGARELLA

Lungarella’s Cesanese 2020 is a wine of remarkable structure and impact.

It is produced on the volcanic–tuff soils surrounding the winery, located 400 meters above sea level in the countryside around Rome.

These hills enjoy a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and warm, breezy summers. The winemaking process includes 9 months of maturation in stainless steel followed by another 9 months in barrique.

This technique allows the Cesanese to retain its acidity while developing highly appealing tertiary notes.

The aromas are rich and spicy: maraschino cherry, blackberry, tobacco, licorice, and a spicy finish.

On the palate it is smooth, with perfectly integrated tannins.
