TIMORASSO "CAVALLINA" DERTHONA COLLI TORTONESI DOC 2022 - CLAUDIO MARIOTTO

Cavallina is an east-facing vineyard located in Vho, a hamlet of Tortona, on calcareous-clay soil at 250-300 meters above sea level.

Following spontaneous fermentation with temperature control, this Timorasso rests for 12 months on noble lees and then another 12 in bottle.

The Timorasso Cavallina 2022 comes with a beautiful golden yellow hue, from which enveloping notes of hydrocarbons immediately emerge, reminiscent of gasoline and carpet.
Chamomile and ripe apricot complete the olfactory profile.

On the palate, it is harmonious with a strong return of minerality and truly long persistence.
It can be stored in the cellar for another 4-6 years.
