Mascarello M. & Figli (La Morra - Cuneo)
The history of the Mascarello family is deeply connected with the history of Langhe and Barolo.
The farm, now ran by Fabio Mascarello, was established in 1927 by lady Maria, a pioneer of female entrepreneurship.
The winery is still located in the same old palais were it was established in La Morra, a tiny town between Alba and Barolo. From the internal courtyard of this building you enter the historic cellar where silent treasures in form of bottle rest and age.
Mascarello means tradition. And you can say it from their wines that don't follow any temporary fashion nor look for shortcuts.
