Mascarello's Barolo is a real classic wine from Langhe.
The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vineyards located in La Morra. After the pressing the fermentation will start and will last for 25-30 days at controlled temperature (around 25-28 Celsius).
After the malolactic fermentation the wine will age for at least 3 years in the traditional oak barrels.
To the nose you will find the typical Barolo aromas: red fruits, liquorice, vanilla, coffee. In the mouth you will find it smooth and silky with a long and intense aftertaste.
It can age for at least another 10 years in the bottle.
PAIRING: Mascarello's Barolo is very traditional and therefore the best pairing is with the typical cuisine from Langhe such us roasted meat, boiled meat and dishes with the white truffle from Alba
