Corte Gardoni (Valeggio sul Mincio - Verona)

The connection to their territory is a determining factor for Corte Gardoni.

In this area, the Piccoli family has been cultivating vines since 1600. After a pause in the 1900s due to the phylloxera crisis, they returned to viticulture with a strong desire to produce wines that are deeply connected to their territory and created in full harmony with the environment.

The cellar for winemaking was built in 1980, and since then, wine production has increasingly focused on quality.

Corte Gardoni is located in the gentle hills between Verona and Lake Garda sheltered from the cold northern winds by the Alpine arc.
The climate is mitigated by the influence of the lake and another distinctive charateristic of Corte Gardoni Winery is the availability of soils distinctly divided between calcareous, ideal for whites, and clayey, suitable for reds.

Custoza and Bardolino are the two cornerstones of Corte Gardoni.

They are strongly territorial wines, tasty and not overly alcoholic, an added value that is not so easy to find nowadays.
