Baracchi Winery (Cortona - Arezzo)

The Cortona area has become synonymous with full-bodied reds, especially after the discovery that the Syrah grape variety thrives best here.

The Baracchi family has been working these lands since the late 1800s, and they continue to be prominent in both agriculture and hospitality.

One of the main features of the Baracchi estate is the distribution of its 32 hectares of land into four distinct areas. While all fall under the Cortona DOC, they differ greatly in terms of soil type and microclimate.

Care and attention continue in the winery, where the wines are produced at controlled temperatures in clean environments ideal for maturation, which often takes place in wooden barrels.
