The Cabernet Franc from the Cora winery is a wine of great impact. Opulent yet delicate at the same time.
The grapes grow on a small southeast-facing hill on the fine sands that are typical of this Alto Adige wine disctrict.
The 2022 vintage was entirely hand-harvested on October 7th and immediately brought to the winery to proceed with completely spontaneous fermentation.
At the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine was transferred to oak barrels where it completed aging for 12 months before being bottled in just 760 bottles.
In the glass, the color is dark red. On the nose, there are hints of cherry and ripe plum, graphite, and mushrooms.
On the palate, it is silky with notes of tobacco and licorice. A hint of cloves in the finish, which is very long and satisfying.
