The difference the Rosso di Montalcino and the Brunello by Pietroso is all in the ageing which is shorter for the Rosso. The rest is exactly the same: same grapes, same harvesting method and same type of fermentation.
The Rosso di Montalcino is fantastic and precious wine with adorable cherry and red fruits aromas.
The tannins are soft and make this wine easy to pair with any kind of meat. Try it with mushrooms too.
