It is known that in Friuli, the so-called international grape varieties have found fertile ground for centuries.
Among these, La Magnolia has also chosen to cultivate Cabernet Franc, a noble and glorious grape with very peculiar characteristics.
The Winery from Spessa di Cividale has opted for a rather short fermentation, about 7-10 days, with frequent punch-downs on the cap of skins. The aging is exclusively in steel for several months.
On the nose, it smells of fresh grass and flowers, as well as black berries and sweet spices.
On the palate, it is velvety with soft tannins.
Herbaceous finish with a return of spicy notes.
PAIRINGS: La Magnolia’s Cabernet Franc pairs well with game and game meat, cotechino (Italian pork dish), and aged cheeses
