Giovanni Rosso (Serralunga d'Alba - Cuneo)
The Rosso family has been cultivating vineyards in the Langhe region for over 100 years, showcasing a deep-rooted connection to tradition that has become emblematic of Barolo’s history.
Starting in the 1980s, the winery’s production shifted exclusively toward low yields and high quality, with further emphasis in this direction when Davide Rosso took the helm in 2001.
Davide’s expertise, gained through experience in Burgundy, allowed Giovanni Rosso’s wines to express the captivating terroir of Barolo from some of the most renowned areas like Cerretta, Serra, and Vigna Rionda.
These are traditional Barolos known for their extreme elegance.
Since 2016, Giovanni Rosso has also acquired an estate on the slopes of Mount Etna near Castiglione di Sicilia. This territory enchanted Davide Rosso, and from it, he produces an Etna Bianco and an Etna Rosso of extraordinary quality.
