Gerlotto (Diano d'Alba, Cuneo)
Gerlotto is a small family-owned winery nestled in the heart of the Langhe region.
The driving force behind the company is Davide Gerlotto, a young and yet experienced winemaker who benefits from the expertise of Sergio Molino, a highly regarded Langhe enologist.
Davide, along with his sister Irma and brother Paolo, inherited the winery established by their father, Mario. They have expanded the vineyard area to a total of 15 hectares, in addition to 11 hectares dedicated to hazelnut cultivation.
Gerlotto's wines are deeply rooted in the local terroir. Their range spans from everyday wines like Dolcetto and Barbera, to more noble offerings such as Barolo from both Serralunga d'Alba and Sorano.
Notably, they also produce an intriguing classic method sparkling wine.
Crafted with passion and expertise, Gerlotto's Barolo wines provide a splendid alternative to more renowned names, all while maintaining significantly more accessible prices.
This discovery through in-depth exploration of small Italian wineries is a testament to our unwavering commitment.
