EXTRA BRUT "NOBIL" 2019 - GERLOTTO

The magic of Nobil was born from an idea by Sergio Molino, the oenologist at Cantina Gerlotto.
When the Nebbiolo grape cluster is nearing full polyphenolic ripeness, the tip of the bunch is cut and immediately taken to the cellar to be vinified into this splendid sparkling wine.
The rest of the cluster, however, remains on the vine and will be harvested in due time to become the winery’s Barolo.

A simple yet ingenious concept that, once in the cellar, follows a meticulous process to become Nobil, a sparkling wine that is very dry (extra brut).

This 2019 vintage spent no less than four years on the lees before disgorgement, which took place in October 2025.

Nobil is a superb sparkling wine. Yeast and bread on the nose, an alluring creaminess on the palate, and delicate, long-lasting bubbles.

A truly great sparkling wine.
