The Barbera Superiore d'Alba from the Gerlotto winery undoubtedly evokes the authentic Barberas of yesteryears, but with a contemporary flair.

Its traditional character is evident in its lively and velvety texture.
However, the aging process in used barriques and tonneaux imparts soft and rounded tones, making it a wine with worldly and international appeal.

The grapes come from a single vineyard in Diano d'Alba, aged 35-40 years, with a yield of just 65 quintals per hectare.

Dried plum and red flowers elevate its pleasurable qualities, while the palate retains the joyful acidity typical of this grape variety.
