Collemara (Corridonia - Macerata)

Collemara originates from the history of the Santori family, who for years cultivated wine between Umbria and Marche before family vicissitudes led them to other activities.

It was the youngest son, Daniele, who decided to bring the family back to “get their hands dirty” with the land and grape skins, initially under the name Cantina Santori, which then became Collemara in 2019.

Collemara joined the FIVI group (the Italian Association of Indipendent Winemakers) from the beginning and this helps to frame the company, which has 12 hectares in the gentle hills of Macerata.

Various grapes are cultivated, but Montepulciano and Ribona, a rare native grape typical of this area, certainly stand out.

A lot of research and tradition, therefore, but also a great desire to measure themselves against a world that requests well-made wines with history and emotions.
