"Lia" from Baglio Diar is an extremely fragrant rosé.
Strawberries, mango, and mint envelop the nostrils in an enchanting and persistent way.
On the palate, the taste is just as full with a vibrant body and a hint of tannin.
The "Lia", which takes its name from a character in "I Malavoglia" by Sicilian author Giovanni Verga, is made with Nero d'Avola grapes harvested on the nights of the first days of September, when the Sicilian temperatures are acceptable for harvesting and the berries are richer in fragrancies.
After gentle pressing and fermentation, the wine rests for a few weeks in steel before being bottled. Yield per hectare of 80 quintals.
PAIRINGS: The low alcohol content and intense fragrance make it perfect for pairing with spicy dishes and tomato-based dishes
