The sweet wine "L'Indagato" (The Investigated) arouses curiosity right from its name, the origin of which is quickly explained: Claudio Mariotto named his Moscato "Fiori d'Arancio," but some years ago the Fraud Repression Office ordered him to change the name because the similarity with the designation "Fior d'Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG" was excessive.
Claudio Mariotto, between resentment and amusement, renamed his wine "L'Indagato".
The curiosity to taste this partially re-fermented must according to the ancient Moscato d'Asti technique remains high, knowing that we are talking about a wine grown in a vineyard that yields just 300 kg per hectare, harvested at the end of September.
Great concentration of aromas and taste, therefore, that explode in the glass with notes of fresh fruit and almond.
Low alcohol, sweetness and lightly sparkling, a gentle and "friendly" wine.
PAIRINGS: blue cheeses, foie gras, fruit, desserts
