CHIANTI CLASSICO DOCG 2019 - BORGO LA STELLA

The 2019 Chianti Classico from Borgo La Stella is an excellent Tuscan red, born among the stunning hills of the estate in the countryside of Radda in Chianti.

The vintage's conditions led the winery's winemaker, Maurizio Alongi, to enrich the sip with 10% Merlot, which, here in the estate's high-altitude hills, expresses itself with fresh notes in addition to its typical fruity varietal contribution.

This is a Chianti Classico with great structure and full satisfaction.

Borgo La Stella's Chianti Classico ages for 15 months in 500-liter barrels and rests in the bottle for 8 months before being released to the market.

The vineyard is located over 600 meters above sea level and is mostly bush-trained: two factors that provide freshness and structure.
